Patented Friendster

Friendster was awarded a patent for “online social networking“.

Come on, (software) patents makes more problem than they do good. They kill innovation and hurts the end users. What next? Would they sue MySpace? What about blogs, are XFN-ed blogrolls also violating this patent?

I never really like Friendster, and this makes it worse. Yes, I own an account, but that was peer-pressure ;)
