Bengawan Solo Coffee Review
Black Coffee
Rp. 7.500,-
A plain double espresso (or so the menu says). I usually ask for three tsp. of sugar and it tastes great. But I’m no coffee expert so it’s really subjective. It’s Basic, cheap and gives me a hard time sleeping. I would recommended this.
Vietnamese Coffee
Rp. 9.000,-
It’s basically black coffee added with (what I think is) evaporated milk and it does not taste good at all. I checked over at Wikipedia right after I tasted it and found out that vietnamese coffee should use sweetened condensed milk! They even got the recepie wrong. Absolutely not recommended :(

Don’t really remember much about this one. My general impression is nice though.
Cafe Latte

Latte‘s are nice and theirs is no exception. I usually have them with 2 tsp of sugar.
Caramel Cafe Latte
Rp. 14.000,-
Practically Cafe Latte topped with caramel syrup. The caramel syrup makes it a lot sweeter compared to the normal Latte. I think it tasted a lot like instant coffee. Not recommended.
Hot Chocolate
Rp. 11.000,-
Their hot chocolate is made from chocolate syrup with milk. The syrup makes it’s very sweet. This time I mean very _very_ sweet. Someone might love this drink, but not me for sure.
For those who generally limit their sugar intake, please take note. The barista at the Carrefour outlet usually asks whether I want my coffee medium or sweet. I asked for medium once and he nearly put four tsb of sugar in my coffee (I stopped him right away). Since that I always say directly how many tea spoons of sugar I’d like in my coffee directly (usually only two or three).

hahahaha gw seh pelanggan tetap di BSC hue hue hue…palink gw suka tuh Black Coffeenya BSC abis pas Gloria jean’s coffee bubar di ta ya gw jdnya ke BSC d abis kopi yg di coffee bean gk enak n kopi yg di starbuck uda gk fresh….i’m a coffee freak ^^
I think their Black Coffee tastes a lot like an Americano, they’re obviously not plain espresso.
wii, simply caramel nya BSC enak banget tuh! pertama kali nyoba gue langsung suka. pecinta manis-manis sii XD
tp caramel macchiato nya lumayan jg kok. harganya ga mahal-mahal pula. lebih cocok lah buat gue dibanding starbucks yg harganya selangit ;)
So. which one is the best? Di surabaya mah banyak banget kedai kopi. Bingung kan?
Starbucks yg mahal tapi kedai kopi plg gede sedunia, excelso kedai kopi lokal punya kapal api, ato si BSC? jujur gue ga tau BSC tapi namanya ndeso banget, seneng dengernya, hehehe……kalo dibuka di sby laku kaga ya?

Excelso/kapal api bukan produk lokal jawa timur tuh. Hehe. BSC lumayan enak, asal barista yang menyediakan bisa membuat minumannya dengan benar. Kadang saya mengalami beda orang kualitas minumannya bisa beda (terutama jenis hot coffee). Kecuali Black Coffee (Americano!) mereka yang pure buatan mesin.
Kalau urusan laku atau tidak… saya tidak tahu. Yang jelas cabang yang di Mall Artha Gading rame tuh. Ada aja yang beli dan tempat duduknya hampir selalu terisi.
Ok bangeddd deh Bengawan Solo, gue doyan banget sama cookies n cream
Temen gue sih paling demen ma ultimate tuh, apalagi kalo esia lagi promo. hehehhe… Makin banyak aja buka gerai..

Good “Black Coffee” at Bengawan Solo for Rp. 7.5 per cup (its cheap)…. but, still, you may belive it or not, theres great “Espresso” at Comic Cafe (Loc:Tebet, Jak-Sel). I thought the cafe it self dont realize that they had great coffee!

If u coffee adict, i suggest u 2try ‘Siprit Cafe’, in ruko arta gading.
Memang agak susah carinya, tempatnya jg gak besar, juga gak sepopuler StarBucks, atau Beans. Tapi layak dicoba. Harga jg gak jauh beda ma BSC
Biar lebih ‘meracun’, ditambahin, ‘Ini tempat langgananya mas Addie MS, yg doyan cerutu ma kopi itu’.
N.b bagi yg baru minum kopi, tolong jangan nyoba (apa lagi espresso), kalo gak mau jantungnya copot^^

Indonesia the best coffee in the world, tapi sementara ini kita masih menggunakan cara lama untuk proses, pinternya orang luar bikin sesuatu yang berbeda , menggunakan otak bikin canggih cara mau minum coffee…., bikin pemilihan biji coffee, roaster,dan mesin coffee.
semua cafe punya ciri khas rasa masing – masing dalam coffeenya, sekali-kali boleh coba dong coffee Caswells,……Eunak tenan.

Saya biasa minum kopi setelah makan. Kebiasaan ini saya bawa setelah saya tinggal lama di Jepang. Tadinya saya tidak minum kopi. Kopi ternyata banyak manfaatnya. Lihat webs saya : http://www.kopienakindonesia.blogspot.com Nah, saya pernah coba minum di Bengawan Solo Cafe PGC, yah, rasanya boleh juga black kopinya, late, dan capuchino.
Dan tidak kalah sama Star Buck. Bedanya, dia hanya menang nama doang. Itu saja. Jayalah kopi Indonesia.

i luv bengawan solo coffee, murah meriah, n black coffee-nya mantap bgt mnrt-ku.
dibandingkan coffee shop laennya yg sejenis, dari segi harga n rasa, bengawan solo is da best..(my opinion lho :D)
Wah harganya udah naik jauh yah sekarang. Sekarang udah enjoy kopi gratis dari kantor sih :)
